CONSTITUTION: This material carrying device is provided with a carrier main body 1 constituted of one main body frame 1A and the other main body frame 1B reciprocating in the axial direction of the one main body frame 1A, a cylinder 7 for extending/contracting the carrier main body capable of changing the distance between the one and the other main body frames 1A, 1B, one wheel mechanism 31A provided on the one main body frame 1A and having the driving means, the other wheel mechanism 31B provided on the other main body frame 1B and having a steering control device, and a steering means steering the one and the other wheel mechanisms 31A, 31B.
