PURPOSE: To obtain an accurate carrying timing, in a device for carrying materials arranged in a row at once, by increasing frictional coefficient of single carrying roller arranged in front of a passage detector in carrying direction, and stopping the roller for predetermined time after function of the passage detector.

CONSTITUTION: Single carrying roller 34b arranged in downstream of passage detectors 36a, 36b is made of stainless steel, while other carrying rollers 34a, 34cW34l are made of Teflon. Consequently, the roller 34b has higher frictional coefficient than those of other rollers 34a, 34cW34l. The roller 34b is stopped during a time necessary for the final carrying material for arriving to the roller 34b after a head carrying material 12 is detected through the passage detectors 36a, 36b. Consequently, all materials to be carried in a row are stopped by the roller 34b and arranged thereat. With such arrangement, carrying timing is regulated accurately.
