Abstract:
To provide a substrate for cell culture which is modified from cell non-adhesive to cell adhesive by simple and inexpensive treatment, especially a substrate capable of culturing one or more kind of cell with position specificity.SOLUTION: There is provided a light modifying polymer, containing a monomer represented by the formula (1), wherein R1 represents hydrogen or a methyl group, R2 is an alkyl group having 1 to 22, and n represents an integer of 1 to 30, as a constitutional element (A), and a constitutional element (B) having a trialkoxysilyl group, and a substrate for cell culture having a layer formed thereby on a surface.SELECTED DRAWING: None
