To provide a material for a coating capable of obtaining a curing type solvent-based top coating, capable of forming a coated film having excellent scratch resistance and anti-chipping property, and also hardly forming crack, etc., and a curing type solvent-based top coating by using such the material.
This material for curing type solvent-based top coating is provided by comprising a lipophilic polyrotaxane having a ring molecule, a straight chain molecule forming an inclusion state of the ring molecule and blocking groups arranged at both terminals of the straight chain molecule, wherein, the straight chain molecule and ring molecule has a hydrophobic modifying group. The inclusion amount of the ring molecule is 0.06-0.61. The molecular weight of the straight chain molecule is 1,000-45,000. The curing type solvent-based final coating is obtained by using the material for the curing type solvent-based final coating. The solvent-based final coating-coated film is obtained by solidifying the curing type solvent-based top coating. The laminated coated film is obtained by sequentially forming a base coat-coated film and a clear coated film by using the solvent-based top coating on a material.
