Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a material experimental furnace where the inside of the furnace is certainly prevented from being polluted by vapor of a specimen.
CONSTITUTION: Heating a specimen 5 in an inner cartridge 6 by an electric heater 2 in a furnace main body 1 is commenced while the specimen 5 is agitated by a vibrating element 10 which is driven by a vibration motor 9 of an agitator 8. At the same time, a getter pump 15 on a vacuum suction line 13 is operated so that vapor 5' of the specimen 5, that leaks from the inner cartridge 6 to an outer cartridge 11, is sucked toward the vacuum suction line 13. A greater portion of the vapor 5' of the specimen 5 is cooled down on the upstream side of the getter pump 15 by a water-cooled Jacket 19, deposited on a filter 18 and recovered.
