Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set the driving speed of a material feeding device automatically according to the driving speed of a processing machine. SOLUTION: A material feeding device 2 feeds a material to a processing machine 1 intermittently by an electric servo motor (a motor 3). A control device 5 of the material feeding device 2 receives a starting signal from the processing machine 1. The starting signal indicates the feeding timing of the material in the operating cycle of the processing machine 1, and its pulse width is proportional to the operating speed of the processing machine 1. The control device 5 has a measuring means to measure the pulse width of the starting signal, a memory means to memorize the rotational speed of a motor, and a control means. The control means takes out the rotational speed corresponding to the measuring result of the measuring means, and drives the motor by this rotational speed. The driving speed of the material feeding device 2 is set in a reasonable value to the processing speed of the processing machine 1 side, and the feeding speed follows to the processing speed. Consequently, a high accuracy can be realized without depending on the experience and the sense of a worker.
