PURPOSE: To prepare a medical or dental material having excellent physical propaties such as hardness, compressive strength, abrasion resistance, etc., low stimulation to the tissue, and high adhesivity to the hard tissue of the body, by using an acrylic monomer having specific structure as main component.
CONSTITUTION: The titled material is composed of (A) 45W70wt% of at least one compound of formula I [Z is H or group of formula II (R1WR6 are H, methyl, ethyl, or propyl)], pref. at least one compound of formula III and (B) 30W55wt% of at least one compound of formula IV. The compound is, e.g. dipentaerythritol pentaacrylate, dipentaerythritol hexaacrylate, etc. The above compound can be used in combination with a medical or dental inorganic investment having a Mohs hardness of ≥6.
