To provide an optoelectronic device.SOLUTION: An optoelectronic device includes a nucleation inhibiting coating (NIC) disposed on a surface of a device within a first portion of a lateral side of the device, and a conductive coating disposed on the surface of the device in a second portion of the lateral side of the device, and the initial adhesion probability of the conductive coating is substantially lower for the NIC than for the surfaces within the first portion such that the first portion is substantially free of the conductive coating, and the NIC includes a compound having a formula such as that shown by the formula (I).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
