Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a material having a high hardness and excellent in wear resistance and corrosion resistance as the material for a valve and a valve seat of gaseous fuel injection valve device.

CONSTITUTION: The inside of a valve seat 4 is provided with a valve in which a hollow hole is formed so as to be made freely slidable. These valve seat 4 and valve 5 are constituted of the material having a compsn. essentially consisting of Fe and furthermore containing, by weight, 1.0 to 3.0% C (carbon), 1.0% Si (silicon), ≤1.0% Mn (manganese), 9.0 to 20.0% Cr (chromium), 1.0 to 10.0% Mo (molybdenum) or 1/2W (tungsten), 1.0 to 6.5% V (vanadium) or V+1/2Nb (niobium) and 1.0 to 5.0% Co (cobalt).
