Abstract:

PURPOSE: To form the hard surface keeping a high wear resistance even if it's in high temperature by executing cladding by welding on the front surface of a member of Ti and Ti alloy.

CONSTITUTION: A cladding by welding material which has the composition of, by weight %, 30-40% Al, the balance Ti, and whose matrix is made of the Ti-Al alloy comprising primarily intermetallic compound TiAl and Ti3Al, and in which the particle of hard material, including metallic carbide is dispersed, is welded with the method of the plasma powder welding, etc.
