Abstract:

To provide a cathode ray tube packaging material capable of reliably preventing dew condensation in the packaging material without using any desiccant.

In the cathode ray tube packaging material in which cathode ray tubes of arbitrary number with a shaft of a neck part disposed in a substantially horizontal condition are held in the vertical direction by a styrene foam tray 1 and an intermediate styrene foam tray 2 and supported in a plurality of stages, and the outer periphery of the intermediate styrene foam tray 2 and the outer side of the cathode ray tube in each stage are packaged by a stretch film 3, recessed parts 2b capable of distributing air between the stages are provided in the intermediate styrene foam tray 2 for demarcating each stage, a large number of vent holes 3a capable of performing ventilation between the packaging material and the outside air are formed in the stretch film 3, and the temperature of each stage in the packaging material is set to be uniform by the ventilation effect of the vent holes 3a and the recessed part 2b to prevent dew condensation.
