To provide material for press forming which is composed of a metallic sheet having good formability and shape-fixability, and allows a friction state optimum for required sites to be formed in press forming.
An inner portion 11 of a circular blank, which portion corresponds to a punch diameter ψ50 mm of deep drawing. remains in a microscopic uneven state of a base material and dimple-like microscopic ruggedness is imparted to the other portion 12 (shaded portion) and therefore the oil retaining property of this portion is enhanced and the friction coefficient degrades. Thereby, since the friction coefficient of a die face portion in the press can be increased and that of a punched face is lessened, the spring back can be reduced, and the shape-fixability can be improved.
