Abstract:
To provide a technique which allows for outputting data showing the influence of the chemical composition of a metal material on material properties of the metal without requiring experiments, and to provide a metal material whose material properties have been predicted using the technique, and a structure that is at least partially formed of the metal material.SOLUTION: A material property prediction program causes a computer to realize: a factor data acquisition function for acquiring at least one set of factor data showing factors affecting pitting corrosion resistance of a metal material; and a pitting corrosion resistance prediction function for inputting the factor data to a machine learning device to cause the machine learning device to predict pitting corrosion resistance of the metal material based on the factors indicated by the factor data and to output pitting corrosion resistance data showing a prediction result of the pitting corrosion resistance of the metal material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
