Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a material which can restore the deteriorated coating film and small marred areas of an automobile to form a durable coating film excellent in gloss by emulsifying an aqueous dispersion of a film-forming synthetic resin, a water-soluble solvent capable of dissolving this resin, and an organopolysiloxane oil in water.
CONSTITUTION: This material is obtained by emulsifying an aqueous dispersion of a film-forming synthetic resin (A) (e.g. an emulsion of a synthetic resin such as an acrylic resin), a water-soluble solvent (B) capable of dissolving this resin (e.g. 2,2,4-trimethylpentanediol-1,3 monoisobutyrate), and an organopolysiloxane oil (C) (e.g. dimethylsilicone oil) in water and preferably comprises one containing 0.1-20.0wt.% resin A, 0.1-20.0wt.% solvent B and 0.2-20.0wt.% oil C. It can restore the deteriorated coating film and small mars on the film of an automobile into a beautiful state and form a durable coating film early by a simple operation.
