To provide a straightening apparatus with which uniform force is applied to a material and a material supplying apparatus with a straightening mechanism each for use in the press working line of a coil material which is wide in the material width.
A roll in a material straightening part is composed of roll members which are divided in the approximately middle in the direction of barrel length, the roll members are held with both end-part and intermediate bearing members and the intermediate bearing member and its outer-ring retaining part are constituted smaller than the diameter of the roll member. Further, the material straightening apparatus is provided with upper and lower bearing holding plates, at least three each, for holding the bearing members of each roll along the direction in which the material is fed, height adjusting mechanisms which are mounted respectively in two or more places at least to either of the upper side or the lower side of these bearing holding plates and perform the adjustment of the clearance distance between roll trains and both-side driving mechanisms for transmitting rotational driving force by which the feeding motion of the material is generated at least on either of the upper side or the lower side of the roll trains and which are provided on the outside of both the roll members.
