Abstract:
To provide a material supply device capable of introducing an auxiliary material with material loss suppressed low, and bringing a blending ratio of a main material and the auxiliary material at a subsequent device close to a desired value.SOLUTION: A vibration feeder (conveying device) 10 conveys a main material and an auxiliary material placed on a conveying surface 110a in the conveying direction, i.e. in the longitudinal direction of the conveying surface 110a. A main material supply device 20 is located on an upstream end side of the conveying surface 110a in the conveying direction, and supplies the main material. An auxiliary material supply device 30 is located at an intermediate portion of the conveying surface 110a in the conveying direction, and quantitatively supplies the auxiliary material. A control unit 40 controls the operation of the vibration feeder 10, the main material supply device 20, and the auxiliary material supply device 30. The control unit 40 operates the auxiliary material supply device 30 at a time when the main material arrives at least at the intermediate portion of the conveying surface 110a by operating the main material supply device 20 and the vibration feeder 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
