Title:
BASE STATION TRANSMISSION POWER CONTROL METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CDMA MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3129285
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the deterioration of outgoing speech quality generated when a desired power can not be transmitted by a mobile station by setting the value obtained by decreasing each desired transmission power and present set transmission power by using a power reduction ratio as a new transmission power when a base station total transmission power is larger than the prescribed maximum total transmission power.
SOLUTION: The information of a transmission power set by each communication channel transmitting part 101 is outputted to a total transmission power calculating part 103. The calculating part 103 calculates the total transmission power of communication channels 1-N, and outputs the result. A comparator 104 compares this total transmission power with the preliminarily normalized maximum total transmission power, and communicates the result to a reduction ratio calculating part 105. A reduction ratio calculating part 105 calculates a power reduction ratio from the compared result or the like, and communicates it to a transmission power deciding part 106. The transmission power deciding part 106 calculates a transmission power by using quality information communicated from a quality judging part 112 and the power reduction ratio, and communicates it to the transmitting part 101.
