Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material to be recorded for an ink jet having excellent ink printability, wear resistance, good color developability, small curl and high printing gloss.
SOLUTION: A base material is coated with an ink receiving layer containing a magnesium chloride and aqueous polyurethane. The polyurethane contains a polycarbonate chain or a polycarbonate chain and a polyester chain in a molecule, and contains a sulfonic acid group. The layer may contain an epichlorohydrin polyamide resin, aqueous soluble epoxy compound and/or acetacetylated vinyl alcohol. After the material is coated with the layer, it is dried at 100°C or lower.
