Abstract:
To improve handlability in using and absorbing property of urine.
This urine-treating material for pets is formed by adding water to the mixture of wood flour having ≤300 μm particle diameter and bentonite powder and granulating the mixture into a material having 500-4,500 μm particle diameter. The particle diameter of the wood flour is preferably 8-110 μm. The mixed ratio of wood flour to bentonite powder is preferably 60-80 wt.%. The particle diameter of bentonite used is preferably ≤20 μm.
