Simultaneously with the start of the coiling of a thread solder A by a transfer roller 3a mounted on the shaft of a supply motor 3 and a pair of freely rotatable rollers 4a1 and 4a2 mounted on both ends of a rod 4a orthogonally crossing the shaft of a torque motor 4, the coiling weight of the thread solder is successively measured by a gravimeter 2. According to the weight of a solder spool 1, which is inputted from the gravimeter 2, the coiling weight change quantity of the thread solder A in a prescribed unit time is successively calculated. By successively comparing the coiling weight change quantity with a standard weight change quantity stored previously in a ROM, a coiling controller controlling a coiling speed is provided. And, the device is equipped with a tension control means controlling the coiling tension of the thread solder to a specific value.
