To provide a material for a pressure-sensitive adhesive capable forming a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer having high adhesive strength and excellent film appearance.SOLUTION: There is provided a material for a pressure-sensitive adhesive comprising a composition C which comprises at least one thermoplastic elastomer A and is in a particulate form, at least one thermoplastic elastomer D, at least one tackifier E and a composition F in a particulate form where these are integrated, where the mass ratio of the whole tackifier to the whole thermoplastic elastomer of the composition F is more than 1.5 and 3.0 or less and the ratio of the MFR value of the composition F to the MFR value of the composition C is 10 or more and 100 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
