Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a matrix converter having a configuration capable of performing sensorless vector control by simple processing.SOLUTION: A matrix converter comprises: a switching control unit for performing switching control of a bidirectional switch circuit on the basis of a voltage command corresponding to a phase on the output side; and a sensorless vector control unit for performing sensorless vector control of a motor by decomposing current flowing in the motor into q-axis current and d-axis current in creating a voltage command on the basis of voltage of each phase of the current flowing in the motor and input three-phase AC power. The sensorless vector control unit comprises a DC equivalent voltage calculation unit for calculating DC equivalent voltage from interphase voltage of the input three-phase AC power to create the voltage command normalized using the DC equivalent voltage.
