Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a matrix for practicable ionto-phoresis which is extremely enhanced in utilization efficiency of a medicine.
CONSTITUTION: The matrix for ionto-phoresis formed by contg. a medicine-contg. layer having <0.05mm thickness is obtd. The ionto-phoresis is executed by using the matrix for ionto-phoresis, by which control to release the medicine is facilitated and the medicine is efficiently percutaneously absorbed. The amt. of the medicine to be incorporated in the matrix is thus made smaller than the ordinary amt. of use. Even more, there are substantially no side-effects, such as skin sore. Decomposition by water is suppressed and the medicine is stabilized by forming a peptide as a thin film if the medicine is the peptide.
