Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the subject sheet obtained by mixing a specific thermoplastic polymer matrix and a thermoplastic polymer in a specific ratio so that there is predetermined difference between both of the matrix and the polymer and excellent in transparency, stability, gloss and smoothness and useful as a UV filter or the like.
CONSTITUTION: The objective sheet contains 99.9-30 wt.% of a thermoplastic polymer matrix (A) consisting of 10-95 wt.% of a hard phase (i) having a glass transition temp. (Tg) higher than 70°C such as methyl methacrylate or the like and 0.1-70 wt.% of a thermoplastic polymer (ii) non-uniformly dispersed in the component A and generating matte effect such as 1-6C alkyl methacrylate or the like and is characterized by that the difference between a refractive index nD,A of the component A and a refractive index ND,B of the heterogenously dispersed substance comprising the component B is at least 0.02.
