Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mattress and a bed having excellent followup ability.SOLUTION: In a mattress 1 which is placed on a bed (electric bed 2) having a first bottom (knee bottom 213) and a second bottom (foot bottom 214) rotatably connected, a rear face layer 10 having a rear face which is a surface of the mattress 1 mostly close to the bed is included, the rear face layer 10 is made of urethane foam, the position corresponding to a connecting part of the first bottom and the second bottom in the rear face of the rear face layer 10 is formed with at least one or more recess (a first recess 11) and the recess part is 10 mm or more in depth and 20 mm or larger in the opening width.
