Abstract:

To reduce load applied on power equipment and to prevent foods on the dishes from getting burned.

A meal serving cart is equipped with the following parts: A plurality of sections are equipped to correspond each meal service recipient. An induction heating coil is built in the bottom of each section. A dish has an electrically conducting layer on the bottom and is stored in the section after the food is served on the dish. Driving circuits 16-19 activate the induction heating coils. A control unit 15 turns on/off the driving circuits. The induction heating coils are divided into plural groups by taking the section as a unit, and the driving circuits 16-19 are provided to each group. The control unit 15 alternately turns on/off the driving circuits 16-19.
