To provide a meal serving wagon where doors for taking trays in/out can be locked so as to prevent the doors from being opened freely by a person other than a manager when the manger is absent.
The management opens the opening and closing doors 5 by holding its handle, and delivers a tray to each patient or allows the patient to take out it while taking out the tray placed on a shelf 7. After this taking out, the doors 5 are closed and a remote-controlled transmitter 25 is operated. When infrared rays received by this operation is received by a reception part 26, a microcomputer drives a driving motor unit 20 to turn a first engaging member 23 clockwise by about 90° to engage the first engaging member 23 with second engaging members 24 to lock the right and left opening and closing doors 5.
