Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a variety of menus when necessary by keeping cooked food contained in a cooling wagon at low temperature under the cold air supplied from a cooling unit with the wagon connected thereto, and individually heating the food with a heater in such a condition as stored in the corresponding and separated chamber of a hot wagon.
CONSTITUTION: A cooling wagon 11 capable of storing cooked food and a freezer capable of keeping the food at low temperature are provided, when this system is applied to a system for feeding meals to a plurality of hospitals. In this case, a cooling unit 71 is installed at a delivery destination, and the wagon 11 is connected to the cold air blowing outlet thereof in such state as clamping the unit 71. The cold air is thereby supplied to the wagon 11 to keep the food at low temperature. Also, a hot wagon 41 is provided at the destination. This wagon 41 is constituted of separated chambers for storing food taken out from the wagon 11, heaters for individually heating the food and a control device 65 for individually controlling each heater.
