PURPOSE: To prevent a sheet end surface from being broken caused by rubbing of the roll end surface and the device, and a roll or a device from being broken caused by contact with the roll side surface in a meandering preventing device for a sheet delivering machine.

CONSTITUTION: Guide rollers 17 to be respectively brought in contact with the end surfaces of rolls 6 on the side surfaces are rotatably supported to a pair of guide shafts 15 respectively projecting toward a pair of front and rear shafts 4, 4' from a main shaft 2 of a sheet delivering machine so as to pinch the rolls 6 from the right and the left. These guide shafts 15 can freely jump in the opposite direction to the feeding direction of the rolls 6 in relation to the shafts 4, 4' by taking jumping shafts 14 provided on the base ends as fulcrums.
