To provide measurement data management equipment capable of handling the preservation of measurement condition data and the writing of a sign and of processing then as formal data, in regard to the data processed electronically.

The present invention is provided by improving the measurement data management equipment for incorporating, into a computer, electronic files of measurement data which a recording device outputs and processing them. The equipment of the present invention comprises a signing in means for performing electronic sign input during authentication of measurement data, and a user authenticating means that determines the user authentication failure in the case of user electronic sign input where the electronic sign input by the signing in means is not recorded, and makes invalid the user who performs input when the number of user authentication failures reaches a predetermined number.
