Abstract:
To provide a measurement device that can calculate the rate of a moving body by a scan on one feature in one cycle.SOLUTION: The measurement device acquires the distance from a moving body to a partial region of one feature and the angle formed by the direction in which the partial region is seen from the moving body and the direction of moving of the moving body, for a first region as the partial region at a first time and for a second region as the partial region at a second time, which is not the first time. The measurement device also acquires length information including the width of the feature. The measurement device thereafter calculates the rate of the moving body from the first time to the second time on the basis of the results of acquisition by the first acquisition unit and the second acquisition unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
