Title:
MEASUREMENT METHOD FOR FORCE APPLIED TO TIRE AND MEASUREMENT APPARATUS FOR FORCE APPLIED TO TIRE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2004331038
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a measurement device for force applied to a tire capable of simply measuring tire radial force and tire circumferential force applied to the tire required for high accurate measurement of a road surface friction coefficient at high accuracy and not influencing to a balance of the tire and to use it for high accurate measurement of the road surface friction coefficient.

The force applied to the tire is measured from a variation pattern of a magnetic flux density detected at rotation of the tire by detecting a magnetic field formed by a magnet fixed to a tread part of the tire by a magnetic sensor fixed to a rim.
