PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a measuring method capable of easily measuring a material having specific binding properties; and a kit, composite and compound appropriately used for the method.SOLUTION: A method for measuring a specific binding material A or a material C specifically binding with the material A comprises: the step 1 of preparing a composite including the material A and having polymerization initiation ability; the step 2 of binding the composite obtained in the step 1 with the material C specifically binding with the material A; the step 3 of polymerizing a monomer or oligomer coloring or emitting light by reacting and polymerizing by a portion having the polymerization initiation ability in the system obtained in the step 2; and the step 4 of measuring the material A or the material C by the coloring or light-emitting caused by polymerizing the monomer or the oligomer.SELECTED DRAWING: None
