Abstract:

To provide both a method for measuring the tension of a warp, capable of restricting slippage to a narrow range, carrying out measurement at a low cost and eliminating complexity by directly using a measured value in a control system and an apparatus for the method.

Force FM which changes according to position relation in which a route of a warp 2, a deflecting member 3, a tension member 15 and a center 16 of a revolving shaft are installed and has an approximately fixed power in a rotation range is measured. Consequently, the tension of the warp 2 can be substantially and accurately measured regardless of the position of the tension member 15 by measuring the force FM. Further, the measured value can be directly used in a yarn feed control device.
