Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for measuring a display unevenness of the screen of a display device at a high speed using a line sensor so that the light source of a backlight is controlled to blink on and off.SOLUTION: A measuring apparatus of a display device includes: light emission means having a plurality of blocks capable of individually controlling a light emission; display means for displaying an image through the modulation of light from the light emission means; and light emission control means for mutually making the plurality of blocks emit light at a different timing. The measuring apparatus includes: measurement means for measuring transmission light of the display means from at least a part of the region having a size corresponding to the block; movement means for moving the measurement means; and measurement control means for controlling a measurement position and a measurement timing by the measurement means according to the blocks for emitting light from among the plurality of blocks.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
