Abstract:
PURPOSE: To measure operate and display the total of the latent heat in the ice and snow and the heat generated from the discharged water when the water is cooled as the true feeding amount of heat and cold in a heat and cold feeding system for feeding a mixture of ice, snow and water to a cooling load such as a freezing warehouse or the like.
CONSTITUTION: The apparatus is provided with a mass flow rate measuring means 1 for detecting the amount of ice and snow and the amount of water separately, an oscillating means 4 for freely oscillating a measuring pipe 3 including a mixture of ice, snow and water, and an oscillation detecting means 5. Moreover, the apparatus is provided with an integrating/display means 6 for operating and displaying both the latent heat of ice and snow and the heat generated by the water discharged from the cooling load.
