Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a higher safety by reducing disturbance as caused by a laser light and an automatic restarting of the measurement of temporary lifting or deviation of a probe for measurement when the lifting or deviation occur in a measuring apparatus for a light scattering body.
SOLUTION: This apparatus is provided with a light emitting section 21 for irradiating a specimen with light, a probe 20 for measurement integrated with photodetecting sections 22 and 23 to detect light, light control means 18 and 19 to control the irradiation of light and signal processing means 16, 17 and 11 to process detection signals obtained by the photodetecting sections. The incoming state of disturbed light is detected by the signal processing means to alter the irradiated condition of the light by a light control means according to the admission of disturbed light. This achieves a higher safety by reducing disturbance as caused by a laser light when the probe for measurement happens to lift or deviate and enables automatically restarting of the measurement of temporary lifting or deviation of the probe for measurement.
