PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of an error, and to improve measuring performance, by a method wherein an electric circuit of a sensor part and an electric circuit of a balancing device are connected to an analogue input selecting circuit which, in turn, is coupled to a digital display.

CONSTITUTION: An output side of each of a moisture sensor A, a balance detecting part B, and a temperature sensor C is connected to a CPU circuit 25, performing a digital computing process, via a selecting circuit 24, the CPU circuit 25 is coupled to a ROM26 storing a control program and a fixed data, and the output value is joined to a digital display 20 via a display scanning circuit 27. A moisture of a given amount of cereals, fed to a measuring receptacle 8, is measured, and a corrective computation is performed according to a change in weight and cereals temperature to display the result. This prevents the occurrence of an error such as density irregularity and permits holding of a reliable cereals moisture value.
