Abstract:
To provide a measurement apparatus and a measurement method which can perform highly accurate measurement over a medium and long term.SOLUTION: A measurement apparatus 1 for measuring a displacement amount in a vertical direction of a structure as a change amount of a height of a liquid level of liquid comprises: a detection unit 10 which is installed at a measurement point P and stores first liquid and second liquid having different specific gravity; a connection unit 30 which extends from the detection unit 10 and has a first tubular member storing the first liquid and a second tubular member storing the second liquid; and a display unit 20 which has reading means that can read a position of the liquid level of the second liquid. The detection unit 10 has a coil part around which at least any of the first tubular member and the second tubular member is wound in a coil shape. A protective material is arranged so as to be in close-contact with the periphery of the first tubular member and the second tubular member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
