Abstract:

To obtain a measuring apparatus and a method for operating the same, capable of easily displaying a set item in a menu fashion about a function which is displayed and explained on a help window.

The measuring apparatus for displaying both a menu to which the set item about the function of the apparatus is assigned, and the help window for explaining the function, is improved. The apparatus is characterized by including: an operating section for choosing the function explained by the help window; and a menu displaying means for displaying the menu of the set item about the function chosen by the operating section.
