Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain accurate measured values and save the labor required for measurement by a method wherein displacement meters for measuring the longitudinal precision and the transversal precision of a cell slot and the flatness of the bottom portion of the cell slot are fitted to the four corner portions of a dummy container near cell guides.

CONSTITUTION: A displacement meter 4 for measuring the longitudinal precision of a cell slot 2, a displacement meter 4 for measuring the transversal precision of the cell slot 2, a displacement meter 5 for measuring the widthwise precision of the cell slot 2, a displacement meter 6 for measuring the flantness of the bottom portion of the cell slot 2 and a position detector 7 for detecting the position of a dummy container 3 are fitted to the lower portions of the corner portions of a dummy container 3 near cell guides 1. A phototransistor 15 is incorporated in a support member 13 for the position detector 7, counts the revolution number and converts the counted value into an electrical signal, to detect the measurement position. On the other hand, the displacement meters 4, 5, 6 output measured values, which are inputted into a controller via the range change-over switch 22 of a display unit 17, an amplifier 23 and the like. Accordingly, all the measured values can be obtained accurately.
