Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a measuring device of torque and a load at time of molding flange of a can barrel, through which flange molding jigs to obtain a desired flange shape with high accuracy can be easily discerned.

CONSTITUTION: A measuring device is provided with a pressing means 5 to press a can barrel W to flange molding jigs 15 and 16 when a flange is molded by the flange molding jigs 14 and 16 by holding the can barrel W by a can barrel holding means 8, a rotational driving means 14 to drive the flange molding jigs 15 and 16 in rotation, a torque detecting means 9 to detect torque of the can barrel W brought into pressure contact with the flange molding jigs 15 and 16, a load detecting means 6 to detect a load applied to the can barrel W by the pressing means 5 and a moving distance detecting means 11 to detect a moving distance of the can barrel W.
