Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the cost and to simplify the constitution of a measuring device by providing a microcomputer which processes the output signal changing by the time detected by a detector means together with a data storage means and a data transter means.
CONSTITUTION: The signals are supplied to a waveform shaping circuit 3 from a speed sensor 1 and an engine revolution sensor 2, and a waveform is shaped. Thus a microcomputer 4 calculates and processes various data on the car speed and the engine rotational frequency which vary by the lapse of time based on the rectangular wave pulse signal obtained from the circuit 3. The processing result of the microcomputer 4 is stored in a storage device 5 and also shown on a display device 7. Meanwhile a mode changeover switch 8 is switched to a data transfer mode to turn on a transfer start switch 9 when no signal is supplied from both sensors 1 and 2. Thus various data on the car speed and the engine rotational frequency stored in the device 5 are transferred to an external computer 10 from a serial control unit 6.
