PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measurement device capable of preventing elimination of measurement results due to a power failure on a circuit power supply while saving the space and reducing wiring work.SOLUTION: A measurement device 1 includes a measurement section 11 that measures the power consumed by an apparatus 2, and includes, integrally with the measurement section 11, a storage 12 storing data representing measurement results made by the measurement section 11 and a first communication section 13 that communicates with a display terminal 3 . The measurement device 1 further includes, integrally with the measurement section 11, a control module 15 that control the display on the display terminal 3 and a switching section 16 that switches the power supply source to the storage 12. The switching section 16 switches the power supply source to the storage 12 so that the power is supplied from a circuit power supply 5 to the storage 12 in an ordinarily state; and at a power failure, the power is supplied to the storage 12 from a backup power source 6 other than the circuit power supply 5.
