PURPOSE: To obtain a measuring device wherein the load applied to the tip of a vibrator and the pressure applied to the pressure-sensitive sensor provided between the vibrator and a vibration stand through an elastomer are changed proportionally.

CONSTITUTION: A recessed part 7 is provided to the vibration stand 6 shaken up and down by a motor 2 through an eccentric cam 3 and the base part of a vibrator 17 supported at the intermediate part thereof by a fulcrum is inserted in the recessed part 7 and a tublar guide 13 is provided between the opposed surfaces 7a of the recessed part 7 through a pressure-sensitive sensor 15 and an elastomer 16 is inserted in the tubular part between the base part of the vibrator 17 and the guide and an auxiliary spring 21 is provided between the base part thereof and the control nut 22 of the outer surface of the guide. The voltage of the pressure-sensitive sensor is inputted to a computer through a preamplifier and an A/D converter and the max. and min. values at the upper and lower dead point parts of the vibration stand are mathematically processed and the numerical value corresponding to a work kind is digitally displayed and other control output is emitted.
