To provide a measuring implement of a flow rate in an wave overtopping which enables a measuring person to safely and accurately measure the quantity of the wave overtopping.
As to a lid 7 of the measuring implement 3 of the flow rate in the wave overtopping, a handle 10 and an inner plate 9 are attached to a lid body 8 which covers the opening of a water collecting measure. The handle 10 is so attached as to stand upright on the lid body 8 and is made extensible and contractible so that the height of a holding portion thereof from the lid body 8 can be adjusted according to the measuring person or a two-dimensional wave forming waterway. The lid body 8 and the inner plate 9 are provided with longitudinal holes, respectively. By providing the longitudinal holes, the inner plate 9 is made slidable for the lid body 8 and thus the size of the lid 7 can be varied according to the dimensions of the water collecting measure 4.
