PURPOSE: To put a titled measuring instrument to practical use, and to utilize it widely in other field, too, by providing a time counting device, a caluculating device, an optical display panel, etc. on one measuring instrument.

CONSTITUTION: As for a time counting device, when a power source 1 is turned on, a second flickering 2' is started, a time-set button 2 becomes on automatically, a time is displayed on a display panel 5 by a numerical key 6, and thereafter, said device is started. As for a calculating means, a calculating key of a mode 3 is depressed. Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, an angle, % and a square root can be calculated by calculation operating keys 6, 7 and 8. When the key is depressed again after the calculation has been ended, the means is returned to a time display. When a measured value on a map as an actual value, a reduced scale display key of a mode 9 is depressed. Said value is displayed optically by graduations and a numeral on a panel 11 and 11'. As for a reduced scale which is different depending on a map, said operation is executed by selecting the key of the mode 9.
