Abstract:
PURPOSE: To simply measure ammonia concentration of liquid containing ammonia of high concentration such as digested sludge, etc.
CONSTITUTION: Liquids A and B are respectively neutralization titrated, and concentrations of amonias in sample liquid to be measured are decided based on the neutralization titers of the both. The liquid A is sample liquid to be measured. The liquid B is mixed liquid of the sample liquid to be measured and aldehyde of ammonium ion remover. In this method for measuring the ammonia concentration, the remover desirably uses formaldehyde. Further, the neutralization titrating range is desirably set to 7-11.5 of pH.
