Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of variables to be presumed in the case when a space having a magnetic generating element is to be predicted by a detecting element composed of at least four single core coils put at different positions in the same direction on the same straight line.
SOLUTION: A source coil 141 is provided in an insertion section 7 by inserting a probe 15 having 16 pieces of source coils 141 through the inserting port 12a of the forceps channel 12 of an electronic endscope 6. On a bed 4 where a patient 5 lies, two sense coils 22a, 22b where at least four single core coils 22k which have each common center and detect a magnetic field in the same direction on the same straight line are arranged at fixed positions in an orthogonal state.
