Abstract:
To provide a measuring method and a measuring device for both end positions in the width direction of a sheet material capable of detecting the position and size in the width direction of the sheet material invariably accurately.
A pair of sensors 11, 12 are moved in the width direction of the sheet material 1a, and both end positions in the width direction of the sheet material 1a are measured. The position and size in the width direction of the sheet material 1a are calculated based on the measured results, and acceptance or rejection can be accurately inspected by comparing these values with the prescribed reference values.
